A Memorial Celebration for Mr. Darrow Sumpter 'Hard Time' of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Friday, June 5, 2020 will be held Saturday, June 20th, 11:00 a.m. at Rainbow Ministries Church of God, 1405 Park Street, Seffner, Florida, Pastor Tyrone Langston, presiding with Supt. Clethen Sutton, eulogist. Darrow James Sumpter was born September 18, 1966 in Jacksonville, Florida. He enjoyed the water, deep sea fishing, motorcycle riding, traveling and watching crime TV shows. He also enjoyed telling jokes and giving people a 'Hardtime'. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Bevel and stepfather, Robert Bevel; father, Benjamin Sumpter and godmother, Gwendolyn Williams. He leaves to cherish his precious memories with his wife, Taheisha Lashawn Sumpter; children, Darrow, Derrick, Darrell, D'Andre and Devin; step-children, Mikeul, Jakiya and Zaire; grandchildren, Dakera, Damiyah, Denario and Dax; a host of nieces, nephews; his brother and best friend, Mike Williams. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service. We are following the CDC guidelines.
