Daryl was born March 7, 1965, in Tampa, Florida. He was the youngest son of James Walter Davis, Sr. and Martha Lee Davis. He grew up in Jackson Heights, East Tampa, and attended Brandon High School. His favorite job was painting and helping his family and friends. He was very proud of his work.

He left his mark wherever he went and will be greatly missed. He was truly one of a kind. He had a wonderful sense of humor and kept our hearts filled with laughter. He had a kind spirit and a gentle strength. He knew and trusted the Lord. Daryl held fast to the faith and beliefs his Mother and Father instilled in him throughout his life's journey. He had an eye for style and loved wearing his hats and sunglasses. His favorite pastimes included listening to music, playing scratch-offs, cooking, and of course eating. He loved his family very much and enjoyed spending time with them. He was a die-hard Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan.

Daryl will be remembered as a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Walter Davis, Sr., and Martha Lee Davis; his brother, James Walter Davis, Jr., and his sisters Juanita E. Davis, and April Y. Davis.

Daryl leaves to cherish his precious memory: his brothers Norris Davis, Sr., Ronald Davis, Sr., Steve Davis (Debra), and Kenocer "Donald" Davis; his sister, Sylvia Walker, and god-sister, Denitra Robinson; dear friends and neighbors, Cassandra Alston, the Bush family, Ann Williams, and Robert Dunn; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
