Homegoing services for Mr. David Lee Baldwin, Sr. "Doc" of Tampa who passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2014, will be held on Saturday, November 1st, 11:00 a.m. at St. James AME Church, 5202 S. 86th Street, Rev. Michael Price I, pastor officiating. David was born January 15, 1965 to Walter Baldwin and Irene Odum. He accepted Christ as a young man. He attended Hillsborough County Schools and was graduate of Tampa Bay Tech High School, class of 1982. In 1985, he married Lalithia Coles and to that union three children were born. David was very outgoing, caring and he enjoyed making people laugh. He was a wonderful son, brother, and father. David was a "huge" fan of Green Bay Packers and he enjoyed being around family and friends. David worked at Canada Dry for 15 years, Reeves Fencing for 12 years, Cott Beverage Company for years before going into business for himself. He was preceded in death by his mother, Irene Baldwin; 3 aunts; grandparents and 4 aunts. He leaves to cherish his memories: children, Latatiana, Lalithia, Jr. and David, Jr. Baldwin; former spouse, Lalithia Baldwin; grandchildren, Lakiyah, Lanaeyah, Tristan, Lamiayah, David III, Davion, Jermiah, Tiana and Quinyas; parents, Walter Baldwin, Sr. (Mary); brothers, Walter Baldwin, Jr. (Rita) and Reginald Baker; sisters, Dianne Davis (Ronald), Darlene Lise and Tangela Baker; aunts, Marilyn Wright, Anne Champaign and Marie Dixon, all of Georgia and Essie Curtis of Michigan; uncles, Kenneth of Georgia, Alzone, James, George and Edward Scott; nieces, Sherricka Baldwin, Tiara and LaRonda Davis, Antani Lise and Tavia; nephews, Derrick Lise, Walter Baldwin III and Ronald Davis, Jr.; cousins, Donald Baldwin, Harmon Munn, Chip; and a host of other cousins; special friends, Sam Oliver, Robbie Johnson, Norris Davis, Michael Daniels, James Brown, Greg Gadson and Reginald and Daryl Tolbert; special thanks to Philon and Thornton family, Cassandra Reed and Maritia Minor. There will be no public viewing. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service at 10:45 p.m.
