David was born on February 8, 1946, in Tampa, FL to David Green, Sr. and Juanita Green Spearman. Mr. Green was a lifelong resident of Tampa and he retired from Hillsborough Animal Clinic.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David Green, Sr. and Juanita Green Spearman; aunts, Cosette R. Watkins and Hattie Mack.

He leaves to cherish his memories: sisters, Cosette G. Whitmore (Fredel) and Theresa Spearman; brother, Dozier Green, Sr.; niece, Jamila Whitmore Felder (Maurice); nephew, Dozier Green, Jr.; grandnieces, Blake Felder, and Dey'zhanae Green; cousins, Clarence Fort (Yvonne), and Angelita Fort-Jacobs; special friends, Eloise Brown and Roger Lockhart; and a host of other relatives and friends
