Funeral services for Mr. David E. Qualls, Jr., 'Uncle David' of Tampa, who passed away on Friday, May 6, 2016, will be held on Saturday, May 14th, 2:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Rev. Michael Neely, officiating. The interment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery. David was born on April 14, 1949 in Ridgeway, South Carolina to the late David E. Qualls, Sr. and Isabella (Wise) Qualls. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family. He leaves to cherish his memories with his wife, Nellie Mae Qualls; brothers, Abraham, James and Solomon Qualls; sisters, Mae Ella Qualls, Rosa Cornelius (Butler), Sarah Belton (Michael) and Ruthie Qualls, all of South Carolina and Nancy Qualls of North Carolina; and a host of nephews, nieces and sorrowing relatives and friends; special friends, Anthony Smith, Albert Pelham and Sam Spears and neighbors, Ruby Thomas, Carla Thomas and Lisa Gomez. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, May 13th, from 5-8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5-6 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.
