Obituary

Debbie Sailor, affectionately known as "Deb" was born on January 1, 1963, to her late parents, Elizah and Addie Sailor in Tampa, Florida. Debbie was born and raised in Tampa, FL as she attended the local schools in Hillsborough County and gained valuable educational opportunities as a graduate of Robinson High School. In her pursuit for love and happiness, God gave to her a husband in holy matrimony, Anthony Royal. To their union, was born their only child, Java Royal. In union, the couple spent many years together as a family.

Debbie whole-heartedly embraced adventure and sacrifice in support of her sons happiness. Debbie spent several years working as a cook and front-line service representative for Sodexo Marriott at USF. She instilled in Java the value of education and independence, and she was overjoyed to witness him enroll and graduate from the University of South Florida. Debbies passion for life was to nurture and enrich the lives of her family members. She was always concerned about the well-being of her 2 sisters: Big Gal (Gail) and Lulu (Mary). Debbie thoroughly enjoyed fellowship, family, and friends. The smile on her face always reflected the infinity of her kindness. She was always willing to give, even more than she had. Debs heart was genuine, honest, kind, and pure. Her spirit was dynamic, radiant, fearless and strong. She had a warm presence and an unforgettable soul. On Thursday, February 2, 2023, Debbie peacefully answered her heavenly fathers call.

Preceding in her in heaven, are her parents: Elizah and Addie Sailor, other relatives; Doris Mansfield, Martha Mansfield, John Henry Mansfield, Lucille Mansfield, Alfred Sailor, Willie Mansfield, LaBrandon Sailor, and Derrick Doe.

As a gentle and compassionate mother, she leaves to cherish her memories, her special blessing from God her son, Java Royal along with Anthony Royal her exspouse. She also leaves fond and profound memories of her sisters, Mary Sailor, Gail Sailor, and Emily M. Johnson, a niece, Shakemya Abraham, 2 nephews, Ladeitriech Sailor and Traimaine Doe; aunt, Elease Knight a very special cousin and caregiver, Willie Mae Lane; and a host of other family members, relatives, friends, and community loved ones.
