Debie Burr LaFavor was born on November 21, 1964, in Tampa, Florida, to Roosevelt Burr, Sr., and Claretha Burr. Debie loved to cook for her family, especially her famous potato salad. She also enjoyed fishing and playing cards. She liked to party and watch movies; her favorite movie was "What's Love Got To Do With It." She loved music and her favorite artists were Prince and Tina Turner. Debie was always the life of the party, and she will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Claretha Burr; sister, Ella Ghoston; nephews, Fredrick Polite and Rashard Burr.

Precious memories remain with her spouse, Luchious LaFavor, Jr.; children, Kewonna Burr Clerkley (Sterling), Sheritta Jones (Byron), Desmond Burr, and Shani LaFavor; grandchildren, Tymesha Shoats, Douglas Rogers, Jr., Dakia Burr, Nicklaus Muldrow, Byron Jones, Jr., Dontrell Clerkley, Joshua Jones, and Khiree Burr; great-grandchild, Taliah Mann; father, Roosevelt Burr, Sr.; brothers, Roosevelt Burr, Jr., Tracy Burr (Sharmaine), and John Burr; sisters, Mary Burr, Brenda Reed (Donald), and Cynthia Shoats (Charles); ten nieces and twelve nephews; best friends, Mary Ann Bush, and Loretta Williams; close family friend, Pearl Thomas; sisters-in-law, Betty Jones, Lucy Rahyms, Julia Stewart, and Myrtis Williams; extended brothers, Sam Lafavor and Willie Muccing; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.
