Debora Darlene Wiggins-Mutton was born on September 2, 1955, in Bradenton, FL. She was a beloved daughter of the late Rev. Leonard L. Ward and Elsie Mae Ward.
Sister Debora grew up in Manatee, Hillsborough, and Sarasota Counties where she attended their respective public-school systems. She furthered her education at Hillsborough Community College. She worked for Sarasota Memorial Hospital and St. Joseph's Hospital as a Unit Clerk for many decades before becoming a licensed Insurance Agent. She was employed by Wipro Limited as a Call Agent, assisting individuals with obtaining healthcare insurance.
Sister Debora accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and was a devoted member of Holsey Temple CME for many years. She was actively involved with the Senior Ministry. In her leisure, Sister Debora enjoyed reading and studying the Bible, arts and crafts and gardening.
On Thursday, December 19, 2024, Debora D. Wiggins-Mutton gained her heavenly wings. She is now resting in the Lord's arms. She was proceeded in death by her father Rev. Leonard Lee Ward, brother-in-law, Donny Ray Betts), and niece Rebecca Ates.
Sister Debora leaves behind to cherish her memories her daughter, Paula Ronnique Wiggins; mother, Elsie Mae Ward; step-mother, Prophetess Shirley Ward; sisters, Sherrill Martin (Reynold, Sr.), Sharon Keyes (Greg Douglas, Sr.) Valerie Betts (Donny Ray Betts) Kathy Ward, Caroll Ward Gainey (Derrick), La Shanda Brown (Dr. Thomas, Sr.), Tammy Morrison; brother, Demetrious Ward; nieces and nephews, Reynold Martin, Jr. (Santrice), Michael Martin (Erica), Stephen Martin (Tania), Greg Douglas, Jr., Shacoya Layton (Keith), Donaldson Betts (Tammie), Darrious Betts, Paige Betts, Maj. Devin Dunson (Gabrielle), DeAndra Cooper (Dennis), and Damarie Gainey, Thomas Brown, Jr. (Maliyah), Isiah Brown, Rachel Brown, Jade Benjamin, Madison Morrison, and Gerard Ward; God-niece, Teyanna Levertt, along with a host of great-nieces and nephews, as well as God-children, friends, and loved ones.
