Debra Norton, also known as "Debbie" was born on March 18, 1960, in Miami Florida to parents Arthur Bennett and Julia Mitchell. During Debras downtime, she enjoyed talking on the phone and loved caring for others. She was often called "The Baby Whisperer". Debra was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Bennett and Julia Mitchell; grandparents, Lastra Brown and Daisy Brown; sisters, Petronia Bennett, and Martha Akins and uncle, Willie Maxwell.

She leaves behind cherished memories of her children; Xavier Norton, Sharita Norton, and Alexis Hutto; grandchildren; Javonte Chambers, Jaden Benjamin, Jazmyne Benjamin, Xayvion Norton, Zyion Harris, and Journi Tibbs; brothers, Lastra Bennett, and Marion Bennett; aunt, Agnes Hamm; nieces, Sheree James, Nichate Sands, Aniya Bennett, Kendra Wilson, And a host of others; nephews, Dontrell Bennett, Derrick Bennett, Brandon Bennett, Amari Bennett, Juan Little, And a host of others; cousins Darrylin Maxwell, Alfred Hamm, Betty Pinkett, Jackie Hamm, And a host of others; special friends, Margaret Fulton, Lady Wilson, Sylvia Barker, Marie Simmons, Mary Jones and Valerie Miller.
