Obituary

Homegoing services for former Tampa resident, Mrs. Delores E. Randolph who was called home on Friday, June 1, 2012, will be held on Saturday, June 9th, 2:00 p.m. at Revelation Community M.B. Church, 7225 E. Chelsea St, with, Rev. Greg Robinson, officiating. Mrs. Randolph was born April 22, 1945 in Tampa, Fl to the late James and Lillian Scott. She attended Booker T. Washington and St. Augustine for the Deaf and Blind. Mrs. Delores' life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her understand that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Her beautiful smile and loving heart brought joy to her family and friends. Mrs. Delores was known as Mama, granny, auntie or (nickname) Ms. Weekie. She was a helpful person, whenever you were in need she was there to lend a helping hand. She was a bonifide Christian and Mother of her church for over 40 years when she was called to heaven to continue God's work. Mrs. Randolph enjoyed watching basketball, football and spending time with family, friends and her Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Randolph; father, James Carver Scott; mother, Lillian Scott; brother, Hilton Wells; sisters, Rosa Lee Holland and Katherine Wells. She leaves to cherish her memories with children: Willie Mosley, Jr. and wife, Mary and Anna Smith and fiancAC., Edward; grandchildren, Willie Mosley IV (Felenicia), Jovon Mosley (Ashley), Sadavia Heyward (Shannon), Aaron Smith, Jr. (Erika), Julie and Timothy Randolph; great grandchildren, Isayah Mosley, Saniah Williams, Zaniyah Mosley, Ari'yanna Smith, Emari Smith, Rylan Mosley and Aaron Smith III; brothers, Jerome Scott and Walter Scott; sisters, Leona Williams and Thelma Velasquez; aunt, Helen Shaw; godsons, Carl Mitchell (Lorraine), Clinton Gallon and Ariel Perez; goddaughters, Beverly Bostick, Debra Peterman (Vance) and Yvette James; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; special extended family, Pastor and First lady Robinson, Elder and First Lady Norton, Leonard Young, best friend, Roseina Sims, Barbara Randolph, Amara Williams, Mya Peoples, Kimberly Brathwaite and her church family of Kingdom Hall. The viewing will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, June 8th, from 5-8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the Church on Saturday for the service.
