Wiggins
February 8, 1954 – September 12, 2024
Today, we remember and celebrate the life of Deltricia Wiggins, who was born on February 8, 1954, in Tampa, Florida, to Edwin and Earline Person. A proud graduate of Howard W. Blake High School, Deltricia embarked on a journey that would see her dedicate herself to both her family and her career. Deltricia worked for 18 years at Borden's Dairy, where she was known for her unwavering work ethic and dependability. She later transitioned to Bausch and Lomb, where she spent 15 fulfilling years before retiring. Her commitment to her work was matched only by her devotion to God and her family. Del loved her family dearly and was a source of unwavering support and guidance for her only son, Terrick" frostie"; daughter-in-law, Deaana; her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She would do anything for them, always putting their needs and happiness first. Her love for family was evident in everything she did, and she created lasting memories filled with laughter and joy.
Beyond her family, Del had a passion for writing and expressing her love for God through journals. She loved shopping and had a keen eye for decorating, always making her surroundings warm and inviting. Her home was a testament to her creativity and style, reflecting her vibrant personality. Music was another of Deltricia's great loves, and she found joy in the smooth sounds of Luther Vandross. His melodies brought her comfort, creating cherished moments that she shared with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by; husband, Glen Wiggins; parents, Edwin and Earline Person; grandparents, Elco Bolton, Sr., Flora Bolton, and Dora Person; aunts, Doris Bolton and Ruth Person; uncles, JB Bolton, Elco Bolton, Jr., and Russell Person, Sr.; brother, Terry Bolton; nephew, Marty Person; great-nephew, Kashmere Person; and cousin, Donnie Bolton.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories: son, Terrick "Frostie" Wiggins (De'aana); grandchildren, Jazzmine Wiggins Evans (Edward), Deon, Devario, Breonna, and Terriell Wiggins, and Ayana Williams; great-grandchildren; Jaxson, Jace, Jade Wiggins, Jaden Wiggins, and Bailee Barker; brothers, Darrick and Marvin Person; nieces, Mia, Doriene, and Danielle Person, and Lawuan Williams; cousins, Karen Johnson, Glenitha Bolton, Anthony Washington (Carol), Reginald Bolton, Russell Person, Jr., and Brenda Person; along with a host of other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
