Obituary

Ordained at the age of 12, he served as a deacon under the leadership of the late Moses Anglin. In 2011, he joined the body of New Beginning Tabernacle MBC where he served as deacon & youth minister. Demario was gifted with an angelic voice and sang praises to the Lord wherever he went. He was not ashamed to "own our Lord". In 2005, he graduated from Howard W. Blake Performing Arts School. marching yellow jackets band, H.W. Blake gospel choir, and the law program. "Rio" was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Phillip Mosley, Sr.; maternal grandmother, Rosie M. Mckinnon-Mosley; uncles, Booker T. Mckinnon, Nathaniel Mckinnon, Frank Mckinnon, Joe Louis Mckinnon, Johnny Mckinnon; aunt, Mary J. Mckinnon; great aunts, Margaret Linton, Betty Goins, and Linda Wallace; and cousin, Montoletto A. Reed, Sr. Demario is survived by his devoted father, Keith E. Godbolt, Sr.; mother, Paula L. Mosley; partner, Deron Q. McQueen; brother, Derius Mosley; sisters, Mischell Collins and Kenisha Wimberly (Anthony); uncles, Willie Paul Mckinnon (Ruby), Phillip Mosley Sr. Kisha; Derrick Mosley, Melvin Wimbush (Tabatha); aunts, Cora Boyd (Steve), and Dorothy Mckinnon; nieces, Saryia Collins and Amyiah McDaniels; nephews, Syncere Collins, Darnell Jackson, and Siah Morris; a host of cousins, friends, and well-wishers. Demario A. "Rio" Mosley will truly be missed by all!
