Deorani Naranie 'Nanny' was born April 27, 1940 in Guyana. She enjoyed singing, bahajans and taking care of her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Joan. She leaves to cherish her precious memories with her children, Honwantie (Lilly), Parabatty (Jean), Eshwardai (Mala) and Taramatlie (Dolly); grandchildren, Ethen, Darshanie, Angie, Omkar, Richie, Diane, Amrit, Avo, Angie and Alvin; great-granddaughter, Angelina Joan; brothers, Harripaul; niece, Leila; nephews, Munan and Gobin; sons-in-law, Cashew and Rohan; grandsons-in-law, Eben and Adrian.
