Celebration of Life services for Mr. DeQuan Markise Baker who passed away on December 11, 2010 will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at St. John Cathedral Church, 3401 E. 25th Avenue, Bishop Eddie Newkirk, Sr. Pastor with Pastor Dwight Newkirk, officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. DeQuan entered into this world on September 10, 1986. He was loved by everyone who entered his life and he will be sincerely missed by many. He loved life and made everyone around him laugh. He touched the lives of everyone he encountered. DeQuan was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He attended the public schools of Hillsborough County. DeQuan was preceded in death by a sister, Ashley Baker, grandmothers, Verdelle Baker and Christella Coachman and grandfather, Fred Coachman. Those left behind to cherish fond loving memories of him include his two sons, DeQuan Baker, Jr. and Javon Sharpe; his mother, Mary Baker; father, Willie Coachman; sisters, Paulette Coachman, Danielle Coachman, Twana Taylor, Donneshia Coleman, Danyell Coleman, Zykettia Coachman and Willieshia Coachman; brothers, Andre Coachman, Jermaine Coachman, Demetrius Baker, Willie R. Coachman, Willie J. Coachman, Robert Thomas, Bacari Johnson and Tacari Johnson; aunts, Karen Baker, Ylonda Baker, Annie Mae (Oliver) Jones, Annie B. Mickles and Evelyn Smith; uncles, Darrell (Theresia) Baker, Anthony (Tamma) Baker, Jimmy (Beverly) Coachman, Sherman (Ann) Coachman and Cornelius (Gloria) Coachman; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The friends may sign the guest register book at 7125 E. Flounder Drive on Friday from 5:30-10 p.m., where the family will have a special gathering. Services will be closed casket. Family and friends are asked to meet at the church at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday for the service.
