Devon was born on April 23, 1956, in St. Thomas, Jamaica, to the late Gloria Roach and Dudley Miles and under the special care of his grandmother, Isabella Dear. Devon was a man filled with faith. Devon devoted his life to serving others through his work at House of Prayer Eternal Ministries. His commitment to his faith was unwavering, and he was a cornerstone of the congregation, offering guidance and wisdom in his role as an Elder. His devotion to his spiritual calling was matched by his dedication to the Brandon Caribbean American Cultural Association, where he remained a longtime member.

A man of many interests, Mr. Myles found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was a culinary enthusiast who relished the time spent in the kitchen, cooking delectable dishes that brought friends and family together. An avid player of dominoes, he was known for his sharp mind and the friendly banter that accompanied each game. His love for music was deep-rooted, and he could often be found spinning records of old school tunes, filling the room with melodies that echoed the good old days. Those who had the privilege of knowing Mr. Myles describe him as a faith-filled, selfless, and loving individual. His presence was a source of comfort and strength, and his actions were a testament to the depth of his character. He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gloria Roach and Dudley Miles; grandmother, Isabella Dear; and sister, Joan Livingston.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, spouse, Maureen I. Myles; children, Diana King (Johnny), JC Myles, Cesare Myles, and Sommer Harris ( Aaron); grandchildren, Derecia Jordan (Kiyon) , Matthew Myles, Ellington Maner, Emanuel Harris, Miriam Harris, and Shecopi Coe-Coe Williams; great-grandchildren, Adrian Jordan, and Serenity Jordan; brothers, Colonel Miles, Milton Miles, Clayton Miles, Trevor Burke, and Donald Livingston; sisters, Vanreen Miles, Georgia 'Peaches' Miles, and Patricia Livingston; aunt, Pauline Miles-Henry; uncles, Charlie Miles (Dosher) and Caswell Lewis (Leola); along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; special family and friends, Horace "P-Son" Wright, Patricia Miles, Audleen Anderson, Andre Sampson, Rose Miles, June Evelyn- Johnson, Peter Foster, Dwight Reed, Mr. Binns, Earl Bull and family, Gloria "Mommy" Nelson and family, Kevin Watson and family, Errol Henry and family, Rene McKenzie and family and special thanks to the House of Prayer Eternal Ministries, Brandon Caribbean American Cultural Association, Adcom Worldwide, and to the Jamaican Community
