Diane Hardy aka "Lady D" was born February 13, 1960, in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Milton T. Hardy and Mary Louise Hardy. A proud Girls Vocational & Technical High School graduate she learned the trade to become a professional seamstress. Diane was the proud and devoted mother of Fahkir Malik Hardy and Linale Hardy. She moved to Tampa in 1980, where she gained employment with Drapeman Textile as a master seamstress. Diane was preceded in death by her grandmother, Carrie Lee Rodgers; father, Milton Hardy; sister, Sharon Hardy, and son, Fahkir Hardy.

She leaves her cherished memories: devoted mother, Mary L Hardy; son, Linale Hardy (Laschell); sisters, Gwendolyn Graham (Carl), Laverne Madir (Aaron), Tammi Hardy and Mssavaghaa Davis; grandchildren, Dondre Hardy, Tahkir Hardy, Stefon Hardy, Fakir Hardy, Jr., Alana Hardy, Darius Phelps and Linale Hardy, Jr., nephews, Kareem Hardy, Kyshan Johnson (Senovia), Tariq Hardy Kristian Hardy, Kelijha Hardy and Corey Long, Jr., and; nieces, Quiana Johnson, ShaReem Hardy, ShaBriah Graham and Tytiana Hardy and great nieces and nephews, Kyshan Johnson, Jr., Shila Johnson, Josiah Harris, Emerald Hardy and Kaylani Doward-Hardy a host of other relatives, cousins, and special friends.
