Dolores was born on May 4, 1958, and raised in Tampa, Florida, to James O. and Rubie L. Bryant. She was a graduate of Hillsborough High School, class of 1976. Dolores loved softball and played for many years, where she was an awesome left fielder. She enjoyed people and loved entertaining family and friends. She retired from the Tampa Tribune as a machine operator for over twenty years, where she met and married her beloved husband, Mr. Courtney Christian.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James O. and Ruby L. Bryant; brother, Earl Jerome Bryant; sister, Beulah Lee Jones; and aunt, Sara Lee McIntyre.

She is survived and cherished by her loving and devoted husband, Courtney Christian of 22 years; son, Norris Christian; siblings, Evelyn Moore (Morris) James Bryant, Billy Knight and Penny Reid; brother-in-law, Roger Newman (Nadine); nephews and nieces, Morris Moore, Jr., Earl Bryant, Jr., Jeffery Reid, Jr., Jason Moore, Ebony Owens (Darin) Kiana Jackson, Deanna Bryant, Arizona Knight, Princess Jones, Bobby McClain, Isiah, Iris Richards (Randy), Aaron Miller (Adrienne), Robert Miller, Gary Miller (wife), Tamika, Rhonda, James, and Kelvin; best friend/ sister, Charlene Hall (Ernest); god-daughter and her children, Lilly Smith Hall (Teree), Oshena Hall, Iree Smith Hall, Ileana Hall, and Teree Smith Hall; and a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins, loved ones, and friends.
