Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, after graduating from Armwood High School class of 2015. Dee marched to the beat of his own drum as an adult. He was a fitness enthusiast, so much so that he became a certified personal trainer. He dedicated himself to those in the fitness and health community. Ambitiously, he built his own brand, Intensity Sold Separately (ISS). As a father, he absolutely adored his son, Adrian, spending time with him playing and exercising together. He enjoyed simple life pleasures, such as going outside to feel the sun, getting active, and having family gatherings. He loved throwback music and genres like rap, the blues, hip-hop, and R&B. He enjoyed reading books about black history and self-help. His infectious smile and laugh will be missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald J. Peterson; grandmother, Carol Pringle; grandfathers, Carlton Jackson, and Columbus Peterson; great-grandparents, Zepherine and Marin Pringle, and Willie and Barbara Reese; uncle, Marc Jackson; and great-uncle, Marvin Pringle.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his beloved Kayla Gambrell; son, Adrian Peterson; mother, Ebony Pringle; brother, Dawaun Peterson; sisters, Zahria Peterson and Donniesha Peterson; aunts, Peggy (Joe), Ashley and Brittany; uncles, Mike, Pete (Latonya), David, Demond, Marcus, Danny; a host of cousins; god-mother, Marilyn Rivers, god-sisters, DNyla Johnson and Raven Jones, and god-brother, Robert Rivers III; great-aunts, Amanda, Carlette (Tony), and Annie; great-uncles, Harvey (Cynthia), Harold (Andrea), and Marion (Oralla).
