Donald Maurice Grier, Jr., was born on October 11, 1977, to Mr. Donald M. Grier, Sr and Mrs. Deborah Patmon, in Tampa, FL. He was a dedicated son, dad, fiancé and father. Known for his kind heart, infectious laughter, and generous spirit, Donald's presence was a gift to all who knew him. He was a man who lived life with passion and joy, touching the lives of many with his humor and kindness. A man of many talents and interests, Donald was known as the "Fry God" for his exceptional cooking, especially his love of frying foods. Donald's passion for coaching little league football was unmatched, and he dedicated many years to mentoring young athletes, leaving a lasting impact on the community. His love for the game and his players was evident to all who watched him on the field. When not coaching, Donald could be found playing dominoes, a pastime he thoroughly enjoyed, or spending precious moments with his family and friends. He was a proud member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church, where he found spiritual guidance under Pastor Bartholomew Banks.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Reuben, Sr. and Inez Grier, Curtis and Jennel Anderson; aunts: Almetta Patmon, Valerie Mcquay, and Sheila Montgomery; and cousins: Keith Grier, and Darrell Grier.

He leaves to cherish his memory to fiancé, Jennifer Boyd; children,Da'Necia, De'Juan, Da'Zariah,De'Sean, Kevin, Markebia, and Latasha; grandchildren: Makai, DeShandre, Jonelle, Rae'Vianna, Tanoka, Ke'Monyi, Ka'Niya, and Malyk; great-grandchild, Malia; parents, Donald M.
