Homegoing celebration for Mrs. Donna J. Hollins of Tampa who passed away Thursday, November 15, 2012 will be held Saturday, November 24th, 10:30 a.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. MLK Jr. Blvd, with Elder Gerald Green, Sr., officiating. Interment will be held at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Donna was born March 9, 1959 to James and Annie Vickers. She enjoyed reading music, playing cards and sharing Sunday dinners with the family. She was preceded in death by father, James Vickers; son, Willie Hollins, Jr., and grandmother, Rosa Lee Bankston. She leaves to cherish fond and loving memories with husband, Willie J. Hollins; children, Dwaneshia K. Hollins, Alexis N. Hollins, Willis J. Hollins and Gregory K. Lawrence, Jr.; mother, Annie J. Vickers; brothers, James Earl Vickers (JoeAnn), Larry Vickers and Danny Lee Vickers; sisters, Rosa James (Herman), Shirley Vickers (James) and Vickie Mack (Stephonse); special friend, Gregory K. Lawrence; aunts, Mae Pearl Merritt, Essie Merritt and Henrietta Ranson; uncles, Robert Bankston and Theodore Merritt; Sr., brother- in- law, Kirt Hollins and sister-in- law, Geraldine Harrison; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. The viewing will be held at Aikens Funeral Home Friday November 23rd from 5-8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. Family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.
