Obituary

Donna K. Sanders passed away on January 31, 2025. She attended public schools in Hillsborough County, Florida. She was a woman of warmth, kindness, and generosity, whose presence brought joy to everyone she met. A passionate cook and talented baker, Donna found immense joy in preparing meals that brought people together. Her kitchen was always filled with the comforting aroma of homemade dishes, and no one ever left her home hungry. Whether it was a simple family dinner or a grand holiday feast, she poured her heart into every bite, making sure those she loved were well-fed and cared for. Beyond her talents in the kitchen, Donna had a gift for hospitality. Her home was a place of laughter and love, where friends and family knew they were always welcome. She cherished time spent with her family and friends, finding joy in life's simplest moments—sharing stories over coffee, looking after her grandchildren, or hosting gatherings just to bring people together. Her giving spirit knew no bounds, and she touched countless lives with her kindness, always willing to lend a helping hand or offer words of encouragement. She enjoyed attending church and praising God.

She was preceded in death by her parents Johnnie Mae Bolden and Willie Timmons Sr.; stepfather Howard Holloway; grandmother Lillie Bell Mosley; grandfather, Ned Bolden; uncles, Willie (Bone Devil) Bolden, and Nathaniel (Devil) Bolden, Sr.; granddaughter, Elana Poole; son, Joshua Sanders-Massey whom she now joins in eternal peace.
