Doretha was born October 6, 1923 in Winston Salem, North Carolina and was a long time resident of Tampa. She attended First Baptist Church of College Hill. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Eular (Norman) Edwards; sons, Charles and Ira Flowers; brother, Nathaniel, Jersey, Ivory and James Edwards and Roosevelt Bailey; sisters, May, Annie and Alberter Edwards and Arream Bailey; granddaughter, Kimberly Bailey; and husband, Eddie Shedrick, Sr.; She leaves to cherish her memories: children, Jerome Flowers, Elvetta Jones, Willie Flowers (Lisa) and Eddie Shedrick, Jr.; grandchildren, Jonathan Jones (Marlise), Angela Jones, Neysa Jones (Michael), Ira Flowers, Jr. (Felicia), Xavier Flowers, Adrian Flowers (Sharon), Sanovia Flowers (Tank), Victoria Flowers, Kelvin Flowers, Valerie Flowers, Maurice Flowers, Samantha Flower, Robin Flowers, Terriana Flowers; great great grandchildren; son-in-law, Major Jones; daughter-in-law, Patricia Williams; special friends, Mr. and Mrs. Margrette Walker, Johnny and Dorthy Walker, Annie M.
