A Homegoing Celebration for Sister Dorothy Lee Walker of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2019 will be held on Saturday, June 15th, 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Moriah P.B. Church, 1223 N. Nebraska Avenue, Pastor B.R. Fulton, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Sister Dorothy Lee Walker was born on March 27, 1928 in Tallahassee, Florida to the late Daniel Webster Robinson and Margaret Wilson. Sister Dorothy Walker attended a local boarding school in Tallahassee, Florida. She moved to Orlando where she soon met and married Samuel Walker, Sr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Walker, Sr.; daughters, Linda Sue Walker; and Rosa Marie Walker; sons, Archie Webster Walker and Rubin E. Walker. She leaves to mourn her memories with her daughter, Rosa Lee Ford; sons, Samuel Walker, Jr. (Tina) and Clarence A. Walker (Constance) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, June 14th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
