Mr. DuJuan Nathaniel McCall "Snacks," was born on January 13, 1992, in Tampa, Florida, to Clementis McCall, Sr. and Francina Pearson. Known for his funny stories and natural ability as a jokester, he had a way of lifting people's moods—even if his jokes sometimes caught you off guard at first. In true DuJuan fashion, those same jokes would often leave you thinking… and eventually laughing. He attended Middleton and Brandon High School, where he played football and also enjoyed swimming. A natural entertainer, DuJuan carried that energy throughout his entire life—even during his illness. He had a deep love for the color blue and often spoke about one day writing a "tell-all" book about his mother. DuJuan was a very truthful individual who lived life on his own terms. He believed in taking risks and living life to the fullest and dealing with the consequences later. He loved his family deeply and showed it in countless ways, including managing a singing group with his sisters and cousin. DuJuan enjoyed eating food—sometimes even someone else's—followed by his signature phrase: "Oh sorry, I didn't know you wanted that." He was loving, kind, funny, friendly and intelligent.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clementis McCall, Sr.; sister, Ashley Witfield; uncles, Steve McCall and Don McCall; maternal grandparents, Willie Frank, Sr. and Aletha Pearson; and paternal grandparents, Samuel Brown and Juliet McCall.
He leaves cherished memories to his mother, Francina Pearson (Rowland); brothers, Larry Rodgers, Danerio Pearson (Lei San), Tobias Delhomme (Melexia), Quingon Jenkins, Seantinae Pearson, Michael Witfield (Cassie), Eldrick Rodgers, Clementis McCall, Jr., Iesha Rodgers, Clemecia McCall (Vincent) and Jeremiah Gaynor, Sr.; aunts, Dedra Rodgers (Howard), Carol Basley (James), Dion Little (Phalen) and Melinda Gaynor, Rimica Grace, Bridgette Crawford; uncles, Willie Pearson, Jr., Kenny McCall, Darryl Pearson, Rodney McCall and Rodney Straughter (Tameka); nieces, Zy'Neriah, Armani, Alyssa, Mikhia, Mikayla, Aaliyah and Deijah; nephews, Calvin, Jr. and Jeremiah, Jr.; special cousin, Marquise Davis, Sr.; cousins, Dontae Thomas (Nadia), Eboni Thomas, Raven McCall, Rodney McCall, Jr., Ryundai McCall and a host of other cousins; special thanks to mother Darlene Dixon, Schrice Blackman, LaFonda McCarty, Tampa General Oncology and Lifepath Hospice.
