Obituary

Duncan Andrews was born December 2, 1958, to the parentage of the late Frank Andrews and Maureen Harris in Miami, FL. He was the oldest and the protector of their three children. Duncans love of family was evident from childhood to adulthood. Family dinners always turned into story time, sharing all the daring and sometimes unbelievable stories of his childhood growing up in North Miami Beach. That love of family was also shared with his love of all things Miami- Hurricanes, Dolphins, and Heat. Duncan always led with a service mindset. His career commenced in management, serving as the manager for the familys car wash, and concluded in security, serving as a security guard for USA Security. Duncan grew up in the church and served the Lord within each church home he joined, with his last service being as a member of the Purple Lily Usher Board at New Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church.

Duncan was preceded in death by his sister, Cheryl Jackson; and daughter, Precious Kendly.

He leaves to cherish his heartfelt memory with his wife, Ebony Shawnte; children: Joi Sutton (Shawn), Duncan Andrews (Markeisha), Trevonti Andrews, and Larvonti Andrews; grandchildren, Deondre Andrews, Dennard Crawford, Duncan Andrews, Jr., Destiny Andrews, DaMyah Andrews, and Shon Sutton; and great-granddaughters, ShaNiyah Calloway and Anastasia Calloway; brothers, Daryl Andrews and Patrick Andrews, Sr., and sister-in-law, Robyn Andrews; nephew and nieces, Patrick Andrews, Jr. (Brittany) and Roshonda Royster (John) and April Jackson. His loving memory will also live on in a host of great nieces and nephews, cousins, and sorrowful friends.
