A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Dwight Jacobs of Tampa, Florida, whom the Lord called home on April 9, 2016 will be held on Saturday April 16th, 11:00 a.m. at Bethel AME Church, 5001 E. Cumberland Dr., Tampa, Florida 33617, Rev. Beverly Lane, pastor with Rev. Bobby Jacobs, officiating and Rev. Joseph Bunts as eulogist. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Dwight was born April 12, 1965 in Tampa, Florida to JoAnn Stubbs. He leaves to cherish his memories with his mother, JoAnn Stubbs; sons, Amir Jacobs, Javarrien Donald, Donte J. Jacobs, and Aaron Jacobs; four grandchildren, Iviyonna and Imiyah Donald, Mayson A. Jacobs and Myara Jones; wife, Evangeline Jacobs; brothers, Lee Williams (Christine), Anthony Williams and James Stubbs; sister, Jacqueline Stubbs-Washington (Andre); great uncle, William Jacobs (Tina); uncles, Lee Andrew Hicks and Toney Jacobs; loving aunts, Sandra Rodriguez, Debora Hughey and Jeanette Garland and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens funeral Home on Friday, April 15, 2016 from 5 to 8 p.m. the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
