A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Dwayne Davis White, Sr. of New Orleans, Louisiana who passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021 will be held on Saturday, January 23rd, 3:00 p.m. at Cathedral of Faith Inc., 6304 N. 30th St, Tampa, FL 33610, Apostle James H. Howell, pastor, officiating. The interment will be held in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.

Dwayne was born December 16, 1965 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Jesse Davis and Leona White. He was a dedicated member of Cathedral of Faith, Inc. He loved to watch basketball and football, especially the New Orleans Saints. He was honorably discharged for his service in the United States Navy Reserve.Dwayne was employed by the Hartline bus system.

He was preceded in death by his father; son, Dwayne Martin; sister, Gelinda Dawson; uncle, Lee Edward Thompson, grandparents, Edward and Julia Thompson, and cousins, Wanda Thompson and Debra Thompson.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories with his children, Dwayne Davis White, Jr. and Tre'Von White; grandchildren, Dwayne Martin, Jr., Tre'nadi White and Dwayne Davis White III; mother, Leona White; brother, Jesse Davis, Jr.; sister, Brenda Thompson; nieces, Zatoya Thompson and Zenise McDuffie; nephews, Quaver White, Jarvis Dawson and Trevor Dawson; cousins, Sharon Thompson, Semetra Thompson and Sandra Thompson; and goddaughter, Ariel Sterling.

The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, January 22nd, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service. We are following the CDC guidelines. The funeral service will be livestreamed at www.AikensFuneralHome.com.
