Homegoing celebration for Mrs. Earnestine Johnson Hilton "Tina" of Tampa, who passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2013, will be held Saturday, June 29th, 11:00 a.m. at Aiken Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd, with Rev. C. R. Batchelor, officiating. Interment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery. Earnestine was born on November 18, 1945 in Oakfield, Georgia. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at a young age. She was married to Bobby Hilton, they were separated. Earnestine lived in Tampa for 50 years. She began her education in Worth County Georgia and graduated from Blake High School, Tampa, Florida. She was employed at National Linen and Honeywell Companies for many years. She enjoyed shopping, cooking and having fun with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Hill Johnson, Sr., and Bertha Johnson; grandparents, Issam and Beatrice Sherman; brother, William H. Johnson, Jr.; sisters, Carolyn and Irabee Johnson; aunts, Daisey Jones, Annie Mae Singleton, Marie Sanders and Ossie Smith; nephew, Darrell Johnson; niece, Shequnia Reynolds; cousins, Diana, Mildred and Michael Barther; brother-in-law, Charles Perkins. She leaves to cherish her memory with her children, Cynthia Johnson of Georgia, Felecia Johnson (Michael), Reginald Johnson (Denise) and Tarohn Alexander, Sr. all of Tampa; grandchildren, La'Tora Gallon, Michael Williams, Jr., Rickeshia Miller, Winyatto Williams, Regina Hilton, Thaddeus, Cornelius, La Tasha and Breeanne Gallon, Brittany and Shamiya Johnson, Shareka Durham, Tarohn, Jr., Deonte, Tyrohn, Taquohn, Tre'rohn, Tarohn E., Tariohn, Omar and Tarohndra Alexander; 15 great grandchildren; brothers, Johnnie Johnson and Curtis Johnson (Sarah), all of Americus, GA; sisters, Wilhemenia Bathchelor (Caleb) and Rhudeane Perkins all of Tampa, FL, Joyce Ann Johnson of Boston, MA and Linda Johnson of Lake City, FL; aunt, Maxidene Sherman of Albany, GA; nieces, Regina Johnson, Quintella Johnson Brown (Gus), Kenyatta, Monica and Tonja Johnson and Latrice Hopkins; nephews, Eddie Kennedy and Rodney and Charlezel Johnson; special friends, Betty Ramsey and Helen Thomas; and a host of other relatives and friends. The viewing will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, June 28th, from 5-8 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.
