Homegoing services for Mr. Eddie Lee Glover of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Friday, October 18, 2013, will be on Friday, October 25th, 11:00 a.m., at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., with a local minister officiating. Interment will be in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida. Eddie Glover was born January 27, 1927 to the late Ed and Lillie (Hearns) Glover. He was affiliated with Salem Bible Church. He enjoyed gardening, reading scriptures, watching political programs such as, MSNBC, CNN and Fox networks. He was honorably discharged from the Armed Forces of the United States. Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, sister Kernestine Marshall and daughter, Rosalyn Harrison. He leaves to cherish loving and fond memories with children, Sylvia Adams, Felicia Glover, Anthony Glover and Sharaine Glover; grandchildren, Rashad Hines, Ashley Franks and Kenneth Glover; 1 great grandchild, Kalia Franks; nieces, Jeane Davis, Blondell Tate, Diane Marshall and Ann Ontengho; nephews, Vincent Marshall, Pat Marshall and Bernard Marshall; friend, Terry Harrison; and a host of other sorrowing relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Thursday, October 24th, from 4 to 7 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Friday for the service.
