Mrs. Edith Sara Donaldson was born January 27, 1937 in Miami, Florida to the late John and Louise Adams. She attended the local schools of Dade County. She was of the Jehovah Witnesses faith and was always in the service of others. She loved to talk about Jehovah and spread the good news of His word and teachings of the bible to everyone. Edith also enjoyed baking delicious cakes and sharing those with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, children, James and Jeremy Carter and Kimberly Donaldson; sisters, Juanita Price, Verdell Wilson and Aramathia Smith. She leaves to cherish her fond memories with her children, Shafrieda and Roneida Carter, Robyn and Corey Donaldson; grandchildren, Sakeya Donaldson, Giovanni Best, Romando Purcell, Hyraim and Kamia Fredrick, David, William (Amanda), Michael, Misty, James (Amy), Hananiah and Mariah Carter, Mario Hairston and Jamisha Thrift (Russell); great grandchildren, Jordon and Kiera Thrift, Jeremiah M., William, Jr. and Jacob E. Carter and Jasmine Best; brothers, Jerry Adams, Ernest Adams and Arthur Lee Adams; daughter-in-law, Sandra "Mickey" Carter; cousins, Daisy Robbs, Daniels Adams, Rose Marie Pace, Fannie Mae Wright, Bernice Brunswich, Charsie Randolph and Emory Lee Adams; many sorrowing friends including, Joe and Mabel Jones, Rocky and Barbara Wells and Willie and Linda Richardson; and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her.
