Ralph "Papa" Edmonds was born on May 15, 1943 to the late Lee Oliver Edmond Sr. and Leola Randolph Ralph was a Skilled Master Painter and Entrepreneur. Ralph Edmonds departed this life to be present with the Lord on March 5, 2024. Papa was a native of Cleveland Ohio and resident of Tampa FL, for 52 years. At the time of his demise he was a member of Greater Faith Christian Center Church of Lakeland, FL, under the leadership of Dr. William J Boss, PhD.
Ralph "Papa" Edmond was preceded in death by his Parents, Lee Oliver Edmond Sr. and Leola Randolph, and Step-mom Bernice Edmond, Brothers preceded him in Death, Walter Edmond, Ellis Edmond, Ronnie Edmond, Lee Oliver Jr. (Mindy). Ralph "Papa" Edmond married Callie Edmond on June 17, 1974, and of this union their daughter Alicia W. Edmond Boss, (spouse Pastor William J. Boss) Lee Oliver Edmond III, Yolanda Edmond, Jasmine Crawford, Jaheim Crawford, Sabrina Flowers, and Cherry Flowers. Papa was a man full of Life and never met a stranger, when He saw you one of his favorite words was "Whats up G-Money"!!
Papa surviving Sister Gloria Kohn, (spouse Ted Kohn) surviving Brother Lee Oliver Edmond III, surviving Grandchildren Ebony S. Mitchell, Donald J. Mitchell II, Edward Ralph Edmond III, Daniel Edmond, Elijah Edmond, Josh Edmond, Monique Lewis, Ayden Garland, Anna Clemens, Destiny Singletary, Danae Singletary, Josiah Edmond, Deja Singletary and Host of beautiful great-grandchildren, surviving nieces Vanicsa Ford, Tammy Jones, Shannon Sweeney, Chyrell Edmond, Tierra Edmond, Jamila Edmond, surviving nephews Damarell Edmond (spouse Dionna), spiritual sons and daughter Andre Crawley, Debra McCalla, Ava M. Hill, Sylvia Crawley, Robert Crawley Jr.
Ralph "Papa" Edmonds, Leaves to cherish "His Queen" Callie Edmond his wife of 50 years plus. Callie unconditional caring for Papa in his affliction was always expressed by his saying, "I love that girl" with a smile on his face. Papa will be missed, but not forgotten, He was a loving kind hearted man who shared his love and wisdom throughout his family and friends. II Corinthians 5:8 says, we are confident I say and willing rather to be absent from the body and be present with the Lord. (KJV)
