Homegoing celebration for Edward Theotis Tarver of Tampa, FL who passed away Saturday, December 24, 2011, will be held Saturday, January 7th, 2:30 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd, Pastor Willis Crum, officiating. Interment will follow. Edward Theotis Tarver was born October 24, 1961 in Tampa, FL. He attended the local schools of Hillsborough County. He was a dedicated worker at the Spaghetti Warehouse having worked more than 15 years. Mr. Edward Tarver was preceded in death by his father, Roosevelt Tarver; brother, James Black and grandfather, James Black, Sr. He leaves to cherish his memories 4 sons, Tommie Tarver, Phillip Shuler, Pernell Shuler and Marlon Tarver; 2 daughters, Sharita Wilson and Dominique Tarver; mother, Elouise Tarver; grandmother, Ellen Taylor; companion, Claretha Chambers; 2 sisters, Reba Tarver and Rose Lockly; brother, Anthony Tarver; 9 grandchildren; 3 nieces and 2 nephews; 1 great niece; 2 great nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. The viewing will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday from 5-8 pm. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.
