Mr. Edward Lee Viverette, age 84 passed away peacefully, he  was born on October 22, 1940 in Philadelphia, Mississippi. Ed lived a life rich with family, tradition, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors. Ed had a deep love for horses, and a lifelong passion for horseback riding. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing card games with loved ones and gatherings that celebrated family bonds. His appreciation for firearms reflected his respect for tradition and the land. Edward was the last of his immediate family. He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years, Evangelist Bettie Bogan Viverette. Together they shared a lasting partnership rooted in love and strength.

He was preceded in death by parents, Tommie and Ruthie Viverette; son, Edward Viverette; granddaughter, Jazzerey Viverette; sisters, Jennie Ruth Luggett, Olive Mae Jones, Annie Mae Pickens, Ida George Viverette, and Verna Gean Evans; brothers, John Henry Vivrett, Tommie Lee Viverette, Elder Jay Viverette, and T.H. "Buster" Viverette.

Ed leaves cherished memories to wife, Bettie Bogan Viverette; sons, Jeffrey Viverette, Sr., and Arthur J. Evans; daughters, Sharlene and Sabrina Viverette, and Edith Rebecca Evans; grandsons, Robert McBride Jr., Edward McBride, Jeffrey Viverette Jr., Javon Viverette and Sean Cooke; granddaughters, Kendra Henderson, Kiara Evans, and Joren'e Evans;; great-grandchildren, Velnoah Williams, Blessing Viverette, Liam, Braden, Ajourne and Adylan (AJ); along with a host of nephews, nieces and many other cherished family.
