Edward was born on November 20, 1946, in Cottondale, FL to Joe and Annie Mae Blaine. He attended school in Jackson County before moving to Tampa and graduating from Middleton Adult High School in 1973. He attended Henshaw Chapel AME Church in Cottondale and accepted Christ at an early age. He worked for the American Canning Company for many years before launching his career with CSX Railroad, where he worked for over 30 years before retiring. Edward enjoyed spending time with his family. His hobby was playing dominoes with his friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Annie Mae Blaine; sister, Emma Jean Dickey; brother, Terry Wilson; and wife, Rhunetta Wilson.
Edward leaves cherished memories with: his loving daughter, Tiffney Wilson (Marcus); grandchildren, Teona, Anquanesha, and Anquan Rodgers, Barbara, Dwayne, and Wayne Davis; great-grandchildren, Eymani and Antonio Riley, Dwayne Davis, Quincy Douthit, Caleb Rodgers, Aubryanna Davis, Joshiah Rodgers, and King Davis; brother, Freddie Wilson (Pellie Mae) of Cottondale, FL; raised as a sister, Barbara Tripp; devoted friend, Ozzie Ashley; stepchildren, Taheisha Bryant and children, Mikeul Dinkins, Jakiya Bryant, and Zaire Gary, Eddie Riley and child, Emari Smith Riley, Curtis Bryant, Jamon Bryant and children Jakhi Bryant, Keyona Bryant, Essance Bryant, and Sky Bryant; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives, neighbors, and friends.
