Homegoing services for Ms. Elaine E. Gabriel of 3600 E. Fletcher Avenue, who passed away, Tuesday, July 27, 2010, will be held Saturday, August 7th, 2:00 p.m., at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, with Elder Frank Winn, officiating. Ms. Elaine Gabriel was born on September 11, 1948. Ms. Gabriel was fierce, witty and would not hesitate to let you know what was on her mind. She was an educator for several years and worked at Eurale Rivera Elementary School in Grove Place, St. Croix Virgin Islands. Ms. Gabriel was called into glory, surrounded by her loving children on Tuesday July 27, 2010. She is survived by her father Henry Harrigan; Special friend Melvin Romney; Daughters, Royena & Saida Lynch, Kalila Gabriel and Vanessa Romney; sons, Shawn, Frederick & Troy Gabriel; granddaughters, Layla, Aylah,& Jahyla Viera, Shayla & Jasmaine Brafith, Keanna Lynch, Oshawna Gabriel & Anaihaj Smith; grandsons, Jay Lynch, Jaleel Veira, Ajani Smith, Javier Bradshaw and Jashawn Gabriel; great-granddaughter, J'Nelle Adams; aunt, Ester Davis; grandmother, Asellita Wyatt; sisters, Ana Nurse, Jaclyn Harrigan, Anastasia Rivers and Sonia Harrigan; brother, Henry Harrigan Jr.; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, friends & family too numerous to mention. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Aikens Funeral Home in Tampa, Florida, followed by the burial in St. Croix U S Virgin Islands. The viewing will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, August 6th, from 5-8 p.m. Family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel for the service on Saturday.
