Eldred was born on March 7, 1968, in Marianna, Florida, to King Roosevelt Cannon and Gwendolyn Sanchez (Adkins). His years of education were with the Hillsborough County School System, where he was awarded a diploma from Armwood High School. He was raised in Faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, attending Grace Mary Missionary Baptist Church. He served in the youth department until leaving for college. He attended Bethune-Cookman College for Criminal Justice, which led him to devote 20 years to the Department of Juvenile Justice. His career shifted to Adult Treatment in Substance Abuse. On August 28, 2008, he met the love of his life, Tarshae, who became his wife on July 25, 2013. They welcomed a daughter Elja'nae.

He was preceded in death by his father and his mother. He leaves precious memories with his wife, Tarshae Cannon; children, Shayana, Izic, Sean Anthony and his wife, Kyrie, Elja'nae, and India; step-daughter, Alize Johnson; nine grandchildren; brother, Eustaz Cannon (April); and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
