Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Ella Jean Robinson of 3301 E 28th Ave., Tampa, will be held this Saturday, March 9, 2013,at 1:00 p.m. at Rivers of Life Church Ministries, Inc., 301 North Lakewood Dr., Brandon, Fl. 33510, Curtis A. Swafford, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow the service at Orange Hill Cemetery. She was called home by the Lord on Sunday, March 3, 2013, while at home surrounded by her children.Mrs. Robinson was born and raised in a small town in Georgia called Boston. That is where she attended and graduated from school. She moved to Florida in the mid 70s where she met and married the late Jessie Lee Robinson. She loved working in her yard enjoying the nice air and watering her flowers. She was preceded in death by her husband Jessie Lee Robinson, her parents Lloyd and Lucy Lewis, her sisters Rosa Lee Newsome and Pearlie Mae Melvin, her brothers James Lewis, Enos, Jimmie, Sylvester, and R.C. Newsome, and her aunt Addie Sailor.She leaves to cherish in her memory: her 6 children Althonso Lewis, Sr. (Phoebe), Theodore Lewis, Nicole Lewis, Jacquelin Lewis, Patricia Robinson, and Jessica Robinson, her 6 Sisters Effie Bennett, Madine Green, Hattie George all of Tampa, Delores Pickett (Murray) of Boston, GA., Lillie Latimore (Freddie) of Miami, FL., and Katherine Guinn of Washington D.C.; her 3 brothers Joe Lewis (Ossie), Lloyd Lewis (Darlene) all of Miami, FL., and Eddie Lewis of Boston, GA.; her 12 Grandchildren Anneka Reeves, Althonso Lewis, Jr., Nikeita Powell, Abrielle Lewis, Al'Lesha Lewis, Ariel Doughlin, Jessie Lewis, Al'Lena Lewis, Michael Thornton, Mike Thornton, Nikayla Troupe, and Ja'Liya Terrible; 2 aunts Mattie Brown and Truddie Willis, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives; special friends Beverly Neves, Eula Anderson, Corrine Williams and Tillman Nellon, Jr. The viewing will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, March 8, 2013 at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
