Ellonaise, affectionately nicknamed, "Ms. Neecie", was born on February 22, 1951, in Edison, Georgia, to the late LB Anderson, Sr. and Altomease Chambers-Anderson.

At an early age, her family relocated to Tampa in 1953. Ellonaise attended local Hillsborough County Schools, graduating in 1969. She spent her early years working for companies such as GTE as a telephone operator, and in later years worked in housekeeping at luxury hotels such as the Marriott and Hyatt Regency. One of her greatest joys was attending Hillsborough Community College and taking courses in Religion at the University of South Florida. She also loved Bible study and going to the latest movie in theaters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, L.B. Anderson, Sr., and Altomease Chambers-Anderson; and brother, L.B. Anderson, Jr.

She leaves precious memories with her daughter, Alison Anderson; brothers, Harold Anderson, Sr., Derrick Anderson, and Lyndon Anderson; sister, Loretta Anderson; nieces, Andrea Anderson-Potter (Rico, Sr.), Kimberly Anderson, Crystal Anderson; nephews, Harold Anderson, Jr., Landon Anderson, and Lamont Anderson; sister-in-law, Karen Anderson; and a host of other loving relatives, cousins, extended family, and family friends.
