A homegoing celebration for Mrs. Elouise Hooks Broadnax of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Friday, May 31, 2019 will be held Saturday, June 8th, 10:00 a.m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Rev. Asbury Broadnax, III, officiating. Elouise was born March 2, 1924 in Plant City, Florida to the late David Hooks and Mattie Long. She attended Idlewild Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; former spouse, Asbury II; grandchildren, Raymotia and ShanDrea. She leaves to cherish her precious memories with her children, Bertrand L., Asbury III, Sylvia L. and Ray Anthony; grandchildren, Towsie, Asbury IIII, Joseph, Lanier, Tionna, Leana, Jordon, Ray Jr., Levetriss and Karrington; brother-in-law, Benjamin Broadnax. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, June 7th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.
