Mrs. Pinder was born on July 26, 1935 in Avon Park, Florida to the late Anthony and Jemima (Johnson) Cross. At an early age she discovered the joy of playing the piano and at the age of 13, she was playing for churches throughout the city and instrumental in organizing glorious choirs. Her love for music continued into her adulthood, giving her many opportunities to touch many lives with her beautiful music spreading God's words through her voice and piano. She organized many choirs and sang throughout her career and played at several churches around the U.S. and abroad. She played for over 20 years at First Baptist Church of College Hill, where she blessed the church and community with her love for music.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories: two devoted and loving children, Earnest A. Pinder III (Victoria) and Sabrina P. Myers (Rickey); loving grandsons, Koran R. Myers (Brittney) and Isaiah A. Myers; loving sister, Daisy M. Jenkins (Ernest); great-grandson, Kameron N.
