Obituary

Emma Jean Houser was born to the late Eugene and Mattie Houser in Tampa, Florida on May 2, 1956. She attended Hillsborough County Schools. She met the love of her life Rudolph Mingo, Jr., in Tampa, Florida. She retired from Maas Brothers after 22 years of dedicated service as a housekeeper. She was devoted to her family. God called our loving mother home. Well done, thy good and faithful servant. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph Mingo; parents, Eugene and Mattie Houser; brothers, Charles Houser, Winifred Harris, Willie Harris, Goldie Harris and George Harris; and sisters, Sandra Houser, Margerie Weldon and Matilda Kenon. 

She leaves cherished memories to her children, Mattie Mingo Blue (Victor) of Zephyrhills, FL, Rudolph Mingo, Sabrina Green and Crystal Harris all of Tampa, FL; brother, Freddie Harris (Gentia); sister, Rita Harris; grandchildren, Akeem Wright, Antonio Mingo, Rodeshia Mingo Willis (Astley), Dominique Green, Lorenzo Green III (Alexandra), Mahlijah Johnson and Kamron Mingo; great-grandchildren, Lorenzo Green IV, Alexander Green, Austyn Willis, Aston Willis, Kadence Johnson, Ma’liyah Johnson and Ameio Mack; nieces and nephews, Ralph Kenon, James Williams, Kisha Williams, Erica Williams, Willie Lewis all of Tampa, FL along with a host of relatives and friends.
