Mrs. Emma Lee Thomas was born on September 2, 1940, to Nathaniel, Sr., and Maeola Sims. She was a proud graduate of Mickens High School, class of 1958. Emma had a deep love for cooking and baking, often filling her home with the comforting aromas of homemade meals and sweet treats. She also found great joy in listening to worship music, which reflected her strong faith and generous spirit.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jessie Thomas.

She is survived by: children, Ronald Sims, Jeramy Thomas, Thalia Sharrel, and Tina Thomas; brothers, Michael and Lorenzo Sims; sister, Faye Harris; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other cherished family members who loved her dearly. Emma's kindness and unwavering faith touched the lives of many. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
