A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Emory Davis, Jr. of Tampa, Florida who passed on Monday, June 7, 2021 will be held on Saturday, June 19th, 2:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Bro. Michael A. Jones, presiding, officiating. The interment will be held in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.

Emory Davis, Jr. was born June 18, 1943 in Donalsonville, Georgia to the late Emory, Sr. and Francis Davis. Everyone who knew Emory knew how much he loved his grandson and would and could go on and on about him. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Joseph Lee Davis and Brantley Davis and aunt, Mary Chestnut. He leaves to cherish his precious memories with his loving and caring wife, Charlene Davis; stepchildren, Rela Albury and Ronnell Curtis (Brittaney); grandson, T-Roy Daniel; sisters, Joann Morgan of Tallahassee, Florida, Pauline Davis and Gainell Davis Hudson (Bernard) of Tampa, Florida; aunts, Pauline Bradwell of Sandersville, Georgia, Marion Macon of St. Petersburg, Florida, Frankie Dean of Tampa, Florida, Constance Brown (Leroy) of Tampa, Florida and Linda Baker of Tampa, Florida; uncles, David Denson and Nathaniel Butler (Martha); Emory will be missed by a host of family and friends; special thanks to Sylvia 'Syl' Johnson and other devoted family and friends after his uncles.

The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, June 18th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service. We are following the CDC guidelines.
