Homegoing services for Mr. Eric Benet Brown of 1004 Saxon Ct., Brandon who passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2009, will be held Saturday, August 22nd, 11:00 a.m. at Tyer Temple United Methodist Church, 3303 N. 15th Street, Rev. Geraldine Christopher, pastor officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memory Gardens. Eric was born March 5, 1973 in Tampa, Florida. Eric was a member of Tyer Temple UMC. He was quiet, gentle and affectionate to all that loved him. He enjoyed sports, music and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Beaulah Brown and grandfather, Ralph Quick. He leaves to cherish his memory son, Eric Benet "E.J." Brown, Jr.; wife, September "Shae" Brown; a devoted father, Tyrone A. Brown and wife, Shirley; mother, Crystal Quick and step-father, Rudolph Devine; one brother, Derrick; three sisters, Tiffany, Simone and Nandi; grandmother, Rhodenia Quick; aunts, Cynthia Haynes and Marsha Bell; great aunt, Ruby Lindsey; uncles, James Williams, Reuben Williams and John Quick and wife, Lisa; great uncle, Glen Quick; niece, Najiah Powell; nephew, Demetrius Powell; much gratitude to Nelson and Harriet Brown, devoted cousins; over forty cousins and other devoted friends. The remains will repose at Aikens Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church for the service on Saturday.
