Homegoing Memorial Service for Mr. Eric Andrew Lewis of Tampa, who passed away on Monday, February 20, 2012, will be held on Saturday, February 25th, 2:00 p.m. at Revealing Truth Ministries, 5201 N. Armenia Ave, Pastor Greg Powe, officiating. Interment will follow. Eric was born November 20, 1968 in New York, New York. Eric attended Schools in Bergenfield, NJ. He moved to Tampa, Florida, December 1983 and graduated from Brandon High School in 1986. Eric loved to read, travel and debate Political science current events. He attended Florida A&M University for two years. He worked for Teco and Citi Group. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Thomas Hankerson, Sr. and John Thomas Lewis; grandmothers, Estella Wilson Hankerson and Laura Belle Lewis. He leaves to cherish loving memories with his parents; Eugene A. Lewis, Bergenfield, NJ and Mildred H. Lewis, Tampa, FL; sister, Gwendolyn Cox and husband, Thomas Cox, Atlanta, GA; aunts, Leanora Brady, Gladys Whaley, Susie Milner all of Tampa, FL, Lanita Lewis and Laura Lewis of Masontown, PA; uncles, Thomas Hankerson, Jr. and Alphonso Hankerson both of Tampa, FL, John Thomas Lewis, Ira Lewis and Pete Lewis all of Pennsylvania; niece, Taylor Cox; nephew, Thomas Cox III, Atlanta, GA; godmother, Valerie Simpson, NY; special friends and extended family, Sharon Alston, NY, Romaine Artest, NY, Altamese Alston, NY, Beverly Webb, Tampa, FL; Lloyd Thurston, Atlanta, GA; the Bigos family, Michael, Linda, Michael, Jr., and Audrina; a host of other relatives and friends. There will be no viewing. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
