Homegoing celebration for Mr. Errol George Patten of Tampa who passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2013 will be held Tuesday, September 17th at 2:00 p.m., Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. MLK Jr. Blvd with Pastor Dan Rosa, officiating. Interment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery. Mr. Errol George Patten was born September 21, 1955 to the late Cyless (Johnson) Patten and Lester George Patten. He enjoyed going to the flea market, watching Sanford and Sons and wrestling, being around his grandchildren and eating. He was preceded in death by brothers, James Patten and Bozey Patten; sisters, Enid Patten and Jackie Patten.; He leaves to cherish fond and loving memories with wife, Ella S. Patten; children, Ann-Marie Nicola Patten, Morlon Maxfield Patten, Michael George Patten and Jason Jermaine Patten; step-children, Shynika Jackson, Jynessa Brown and Anthony Brown, Jr.; grandchildren, Rashod Monts, Jr., Esasa Monts and Zoe Patten; step-grandchildren, Korey, Shanya, Stanley, D'najia, O' Montriel and Anthony Jr.,; brothers, Harry (June) Patten of England, Peter (Hortence) Patten of Canada, Robert (Hycinth) Patten of Canada and Witty (Cendarella) Patten of Jamaica; sisters, Rose Garner of England, Mary (Don) Ashton of England, Dawn (Lowell) Thompson of Canada, Daphne (Daves) McNab of Canada, Ethel James of Canada and Elaine Edwards of England; and a host nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Monday, September 16th from 4 to 7 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel for the service.
