Obituary

Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Essie Mae Mack a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend, will be held Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 2:00 p.m., at the Exciting Faith Alive Church, 3111 E. Wilder Ave., Rev. Antonio Hawkins, pastor. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Deaconess Mack departed this life on January 25, 2010 surrounded by her family and friends. Deaconess Mack was born July 18, 1928 to the late Ola Mae and Henry Wiggins in Andalusia, Alabama. Deaconess Mack was a very close friend to Pastor Hawkins and the Exciting Faith Alive Family. She attended school in Pensacola School District and later studied to become a certified nursing assistant. She worked for Memorial Hospital of Tampa, until her retirement. She is resting with her parents, brother, Henry Wiggins, Jr. and sister-in-law, Daisy Wiggins. She leaves to cherish her loving and devoted husband of 52 years, Deacon Henry Mack, Sr.; 3 children, Henry, Jr., Sheryl and Larry; 1 special godson, Christopher Bynum; 5 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends. The viewing will be held at Aikens Funeral Home Friday, January 29th from 5 to 8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5:30-6:30 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church for the service on Saturday.
