Homegoing services for Mrs. Estellar Henderson of Tampa, who passed away on Friday, March 15, 2013, will be held on Saturday, March 23rd,10:00 a.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd, with Rev. Christopher Thompson, officiating. Interment will be held in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Estellar was born on December 17, 1914 in Dothan, Alabama. She was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, loved growing roses, taking care of and spending time with friends and she was known for her sense of humor. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hosea and Susie Butts; son, Willie Henderson; daughter, Debra Johnson and nieces, Olymipa Malone and Imma Sue. She leaves to cherish memories with her son; Lovie Lee Henderson (Deloris); grandchildren, Mechele Henderson Welch, Willie Henderson, Antonio Johnson (Missy), Shantae Brewster (Kent James), Latosha Johnson (Reginald) and Andrae Johnson (Trina); great-grandchildren, Diamond, Sharisa, Antonio, Shanice, Ciarra, Kent, Kenya, Kenyatta, Charne'Qua, Anicia, Zhane, Shayla, Lexis, Brittany, Tranesha, Willie, Deandre, Javaris, Jasha, Tori, Jaquez and Jakai; and a host of other relatives and special friends; nephew, John Butts; nieces, Robbie Price, Lutricia Ward and Dorothy Allen and neighbor, Tracy Foster. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, from 5-8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5-6 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.
