Esther was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Michael Billups. Waiting for her arrival at the golden gates are parents, Matthew and Queen Vashiti Fordoms; granddaughter, Simmiel Spillman; brothers, Sylvester, Hiram, and Rudolph "Rudy"; sisters Emogen Mitchell and Patricia Walker; and beloved nephew, Duran Bell, Sr.

She leaves behind strong family roots with her two offspring, Varonte Bradley and Tavares Billups (Tammy); grandkids, Stara Brown (William), Jimeka Spillman (Terry), and Quaisha and Cleveland Russ; great grandkids. William Lille, Jr., Tavion Lille, Yahanae Franklin, Chelsea Engram, Gregory Engram III, Musik Engram, Geon Brown, Gino Brown, Ra'Jada Bostick, and Jimielya Johnson; great-great- grandchild, Jalani McCollough; brothers, Albert Fordoms (Deborah J.) and Gerard Fordoms; sisters, Sarah Lee, Mary Bell (Anthony); soul sister/best friend, Veronica Johnson; close friends, Tyrone, Bobby, Baby Ruth and Pat; devoted neighbor, Mario; goddaughter, Wanda Green; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
