A Homegoing Celebration for Deaconess Ethel Elizabeth Cole of Tampa, Florida who passed on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 will be held on Saturday, May 1st, 2:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Rev. Larry Roundtree Pastor of New Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, officiating. The interment will be held in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Deaconess Ethel Elizabeth Cole was born July 31, 1928 in Albany, Georgia to the late Jake and Ruth Malone. She was a member ofNew Mt. Zion M.B. Church. She enjoyed flower gardening and crossword puzzling. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Deacon Samuel Cole; sons, Samuel, Jr. and David Cole; daughter, Renee Cole. She leaves to cherish her precious memories with her loving sons, Brenford Cole, Carl Cole and Jeffrey Cole; grandchildren, Cedrick Cole, Vontrece Cole, Shaquita Brown, Sheri Cole, Jessica Cole, Bobby Cole, Terry Cole, Demontra Cole, Dominque Stinson, Jasmine Cole, Jackie Jones, Anthony Cole, David Cole, Moke Jones, DayDay Cole, Cara Reed and Cireeicka Stinson; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers, William Malone (Rose), Jake Malone (Harriett) and Melvin Terrell; sisters, Dr. Anita Williams-Faoye, Ossie Malone and Rose Malone; nieces, Kimberly Cobb, Natalie Thomas, Carol Malone, Zenora Sanders, LaToya Grace, Veronica Cliatt and Shirtey Cole; nephews, Thomas Malone, Carlton Malone, Perotta Malone and Nathaniel Cobb; god-daughters, Sharon Robinson and Sharon Moore; brother-in-law, Nathaniel Cobb; sisters-in-law, Vera Terrell and Louise Malone; special friends, Essie Merritt and Toyetta Williams.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, April 30th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service. We are following the CDC guidelines.
